Data and Trust

Trust must be designed before data is collected.

  • Participation would be voluntary.
  • Information would be collected only for clear purposes.
  • Individuals would control what they share.
  • Experiences would not be exposed publicly without permission.
  • Aggregate reporting would require minimum privacy thresholds.
  • Identifiable personal data would not be sold.
  • Methodologies would be transparent.
  • Bias and misuse would be actively monitored.
  • Users would be able to withdraw or delete their information.
  • Independent oversight would be considered essential.
  • Institutional subscribers would not gain access to individual identities.

These are design commitments for the future Make It Better system. No personal lived-experience database is being operated through this marketing website.
